Internship Program

The Vanderburgh County Health Department has developed an internship program that allows higher education students the opportunity to experience the wide arena of Public Health. The Vanderburgh County Health Department strives to provide a positive learning experience by immersing the students into the programs, initiatives, and divisions of the health department. These students are considered working interns rather than observers, and within this program students will be required to work alongside staff. We hope to provide real work experience that will benefit both the Vanderburgh County Health Department and the intern.
